You have a choice of a waterfall and pond, or pond-less waterfalls. There are advantages to both and it comes down to your own personal preference.

Pondless waterfalls are waterfalls minus the pond. They can be not only beautiful and natural-looking waterfalls, cascading over natural rock and boulders that disappear into a bed of decorative gravel. They are great for the customer who wants low maintenance, or maybe travels a lot.

The sound of water in your landscape is very soothing and can’t be matched by any other feature in your landscape. Add ease of maintenance and you’ve got a great combination. You can even put a pondless waterfall in your front yard because you won’t have the liability because there is no pond.

Pondless waterfalls have lower maintenance than waterscape ecosystem ponds. You will use less water and they are great for areas where applications, a pond is not required or desired. They are great around little children, and pets, and did I mention very low maintenance!
